Nature of PATH 2026 & Event Purpose

PATH 2026 is an educational conference organised by University & Beyond (UnB) for students and families exploring undergraduate and postgraduate study opportunities at U.S. colleges and universities. Attendance at PATH 2026 is the primary purpose of any visa obtained for this event.

B-1/B-2 Visitor Visa Information

If you are travelling from outside the United States to attend PATH 2026, you may be eligible for a B-1 (Business Visitor) or B-2 (Tourism/Pleasure) visa, or a combined B-1/B-2 visa, as issued by the U.S. Department of State. Key requirements include:

  • You must demonstrate that your visit is temporary and for a specific, legitimate purpose (attending PATH 2026).
  • You must demonstrate strong ties to your home country (e.g., family, employment, property, ongoing studies) to establish non-immigrant intent.
  • You must show that you have sufficient funds to cover the cost of your trip and stay.
  • You must not intend to work, seek employment, or enrol in a degree programme while on a B-1/B-2 visa.
  • Attending an educational fair or conference as a prospective student is generally permissible on a B-2 visa.

What This Registration Provides

  • An official event invitation letter from University & Beyond (UnB), confirming your registration and the nature of the event.
  • A confirmation of event details (date, venue, duration) for submission to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate.
  • These documents are supporting materials only. A visa is not guaranteed by registration or receipt of an invitation letter.
